Family History is my hobby.  I am not a professional genealogist.

Thank you for taking the time to view my humble effort.  Also, a very BIG THANK YOU to all those who have kindly contributed information.

My Wenham Ancestors

I have 2 Wenham ancestral lines.

I join the first line with a possible 6x Great Grandmother Ann Wenham who married Thomas Gibson in 1734 in Ninfield, Sussex.  She was born there in late 1716 or early 1717, and was the daughter of Thomas Wenham and Elizabeth Kees who married 1716.

Joan Wenham (or Jane Wenham) was my 12x Great Grandmother.  She married John Hepden in about the 1540's and they raised their family in Burwash, Sussex.  Joan's father, John Wenham, was a Quaker of Laughton, Sussex, who died in prison in 1558.
