Family History is my hobby.  I am not a professional genealogist.

Thank you for taking the time to view my humble effort.  Also, a very BIG THANK YOU to all those who have kindly contributed information.

My Tasker Ancestors

I may have 2 links into the Tasker family.  The first with a 6x Great Grandmother, Ann Tasker who was possibly born 1700 or 1703 in Balcombe, the daughter of George Tasker and Jane Geer or Ann Vincent.  Ann married Richard Stedman in 1728.

The second link is via Rebecca Tasker a 10x Great Grandmother.  She married John Alfrey in 1662 in East Grinstead, Sussex.  At that time she was said to be of Balcombe in Sussex.  I think Rebecca may have been the daughter of George Tasker and Susan Ginner who married 1629 in Balcombe.
