Robert RENVILL
(1749-1831)
and Elizabeth JEFFERY (1754-?)

Robert Renvill and Elizabeth Jeffery married by banns on 12
January 1781 in Wivelsfield, Sussex. They were both then of
Wivelsfield. (They were not my direct ancestors. Their daughter
Mary married the brother of my 3x great grandfather.)
Robert Renfield was baptised on 5 November 1749 in Wivelsfield.
He was the son of Thomas Renvill (1708-1785) and Jane Exeter
(?-1780). Robert left a
will dated 29 August 1827 and proved on
9 June 1831, in which he mentioned his wife and 3 daughters.
Elizabeth Jeffries was baptised on 1 December 1754 in Wivelsfield.
She was the daughter of John Jeofry and Mary Heath.

the Archdeaconry of Lewes and it recorded that Elizabeth was a 24 year old
spinster and William a 19 year old blacksmith who married with the consent
of Timothy Mills. They were both then of Wivelsfield.
Elizabeth was a widow of Brighton when her father made his will in 1827.

married
Charles
Dowlen in 1812. (They have their own page.)

She did not marry. When the 1841 census was recorded she was living
