East Hoathly

My Plaw Ancestors

A 7x Great Grandmother was Susanna Plaw who married William Tester in 1722 in East Hoathly, Sussex.  I think she may have been born in 1689 in Waldron, the daughter of Edward Plaw and Ann Parker, but as William was born in 1702, this would mean she was 13 years old than her husband.  However, Waldron does border East Hoathly where the couple married, and Framfield where William was born, and Mayfield where the couple eventually settled and were buried.

I may also have another 7x Great Grandmother named Ann Plaw who was born in Brighton, Sussex in 1689 and married John Howell there in 1709.  Ann was the daughter of Robert Plaw and Johanna Payne.
