Family History is my hobby - I am not a professional genealogist.

Thank you for taking the time to view my humble effort.  Also, a very BIG THANK YOU to all those who have kindly contributed information.

My Matthews Ancestors

A 5x Great Grandmother was Mary Matthews who first married Richard Knight in 1747 in Albourne, Sussex and then to my 5x Great Grandfather, Thomas Hoadley in 1761 in Twineham, Sussex.  She was born in Twineham in 1723 and was the daughter of James Matthew and Mary Woolven.

I may also have a 10x Great Grandmother named Elizabeth Mathew was born in Dallington, Sussex in 1600.

I still have much to do on the early Matthew(s) family.
