Family History is my hobby.  I am not a professional genealogist.

My Jupp Ancestors

I may have 3 links into the Jupp family tree.

A 7x Great Grandmother was Mary Jupp who married Henry Woolven in 1686 in Shipley, Sussex.  She may have been baptised there in 1656 and have been the daughter of James Jupp.

I may also have another 7x Great Grandmother named Eleanor Jupp who married Daniel Haylor in 1717 in Billingshurst, Sussex.  (Billingshurst and Shipley are neighbouring parishes.)  It is possible that Eleanor was born in 1675 in Itchingfield, the daughter of John Jupp and Mary.  However, Eleanor died in 1769, which would have meant she was about 94 when she died, and yet no mention was made of her great age in the burial register.

John and Mary also had a daughter named Mary Jupp who was baptised in 1663 in Itchingfield.  But, there were several Mary Jupp's born around about that time.

An 8x Great Grandmother was Susan Jupp who married Thomas Sayers in about 1681.  She was baptised in Rudgwick, Sussex in 1652 and was the daughter of Edward Jupp.
