My French Ancestors

I have 3 French ancestral lines.

I join the first with a 4x Great Grandmother, Sarah French who married James Tulet in 1787 in Cuckfield, Sussex.  She was born in 1765 in Patcham, Sussex and was the daughter of Charles French and Lucy Gadsby, who married in 1764.

The second is via a 6x Great Grandmother, Sarah French who married Thomas Bourne in 1744 in Brightling, Sussex.  She was born in Warbleton, Sussex in 1722 and was the daughter of John French and Ann Brand who married in 1721 in Bodiam, Sussex.

The third connection is with an 8x Great Grandmother Mary French who married Stephen Monk in 1672 in Heathfield, Sussex.  She was most probably baptised in Heathfield in 1651, and the daughter of Richard French and Barbara Humfry.
