The FIELD Families of Sussex

So far, I have no known Field ancestors of my own.

My interest in the Field families of Sussex began by trying to trace the ancestors of Frank Field (1949-2012), and they were, starting with his father:  Frank Stanley Field (1923-2005) > Stanley Leonard Field (1899-1981) > Charles Field (1860-?) > John Field (1825-1906) > Churchman Field (1781-1865) > James Field (c1753-1820) > James Field (1725-1785) > Michael Field (?-1761) > Thomas Field.  Frank and I share common ancestors in Henry Purvey (1665-1711) and Bridget Sherley (1668-1745).  Henry and Bridget were my 7x great grandparents and Frank's 8x great grandparents.
