My Cripps Ancestors

I may have 2 Cripps connections.

The first connection is with an 8x Great Grandmother, Ann Cripps who married Richard Woolven in about 1666.  They raised their family in West Grinstead, Sussex.

A 9x Great Grandmother was Elizabeth Cripse who married William Strickland in 1650 in London.  She was born in East Grinstead, Sussex in 1626 and was the daughter of John Cripse and Susan Stretfield who married in Withyham, Sussex in 1624.
